International Antifascist and
Anti-imperialist Youth Camp

Denmark July 28th – August 5th 2006

The International Youth Camp will take place in Denmark in 2006
For more than a week youth from all over the world will meet
– in order to change it.

At the end of July and the beginning of august 2006 revolutionary youth activities will take place.
A whole internal village of youth against fascism, racism and imperialism will emerge about 20 km from the centre of Copenhagen.

From more than 20 different countries and from all continents youth will arrive. And together with hundreds of Danish youngsters they will get to know the situation and struggles of today’s youth of the world, share experiences, learn from each other and be to together. Their culture and music will leave its mark on the camp – and the camp and its participations also will leave its mark in Copenhagen.

The 20 th International Youth Camp

The event is The 20 th International Antifascist and Anti-imperialist Youth Camp. Palestine and Iraqi youth will participate, youth from Latin- and Central America, from Turkey, from Asia, from Eastern Europe and many EU-countries. The International Antifascist and Anti-imperialist Youth Camp is a worldwide tradition, which now takes place every other year on different continents. In 2004 in was in Mexico. In 2002 it was in Spain and in 2000 it took place in Turkey.

The International Youth Camp 2006 will be a jubilee camp – the 2o.th in the row, where new generations of fighting youth will meet.

The Activist Camp

The Camp will take place at a people’s high school. Here there will be great facilities for meeting, seminars, discussions, workshops, music, dance, sports and creative activities.

There will political themes, and cool parties. It is a youth activist camp – you can bee part of it and part of bringing this together.
In Denmark there will established preparatory groups open for participation.

The International Antifascist and Anti-imperialist Youth Camp is organized by a number of Antifascist and Anti-imperialist Youth Organizations from different countries and continents.

The Danish Communist Youth Organization, DKU is the main Danish organizer. DKU wants the camp to be for all Progressive, Antifascist and Anti-imperialist youth across different political groups. The mobilising has already started.
